Every business is unique, so your bookkeeping “to-do list” is customized to you. At the start of our work together, I’ll give you a checklist of the exact documents I’ll need, things like bank statements, credit card statements, receipts, invoices, or payroll reports. Most of these are needed monthly, within a few days of your statement date. If you’re registered for GST, I’ll also need quarterly paperwork to file on time. Having a regular routine means nothing slips through the cracks, and you’ll always know exactly what’s due and when.
I make it as simple as possible. Some clients give me direct read-only access to their bank or credit card statements, while others prefer to upload everything to a secure portal. We’ll decide together on the system that works best for you, and I’ll provide step-by-step instructions, so you always know where to send your paperwork.
Every month you’ll get an automated email with a checklist of what to send, so you’ll always know exactly what’s needed. If something is still missing after that, I’ll personally reach out to follow up. The smoother the document flow, the faster I can deliver accurate reports and insights for your business.
